Hyundai Teases Its Super Bowl Advertising During The AFC And NFC Championship Games

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Jan. 19, 2018  Hyundai is using two of the highest-rated sporting events of the year to tease its Super Bowl LII marketing campaign. During the AFC and NFC Championship games this Sunday, Hyundai will run a teaser spot in both games to kick off another momentous Super Bowl effort.

The teaser spot, created by Hyundai’s agency of record, INNOCEAN USA, opens with homage to Hyundai’s groundbreaking Operation: Better campaign, in which three overseas troops watched the game in custom-built, 360-degree immersive pods and were virtually reunited with their families, who were at the stadium. The piece then provides a hint at what’s to come this year, when Hyundai plans to surprise millions.

“Last year, we hit an emotional chord with audiences as we provided three heroes with an unforgettable experience and helped reunite them with their families,” said Dean Evans, CMO, Hyundai Motor America. “For this year, we thought, let’s do something bigger and celebrate millions of heroes who have helped a very important cause.”

The 30-second teaser will run once in both the AFC and NFC Championship games on Sunday, January 21. It will also be available for viewing on Hyundai’s website and social media channels.
