9th Annual “ART-of-Motion” Exhibit: Creative Expressions at the 2025 Washington Auto Show

By Leon Brittain

Get ready for an electrifying experience as ART-of-Motion returns to the Washington, D.C. Auto Show for its ninth consecutive year. This one-of-a-kind showcase celebrates the DMV’s vibrant culture with a heart-pounding fusion of art, music, and mobility.

Produced by Automotive Rhythms, the trendsetting urban automotive media group will underscore the influential auto and moto ethos of the greater D.C. area. In partnership with Adrenaline Lifestyles and Throttle Life, the cutting-edge display incorporates an energetic lineup that defines style and power. ART-of-Motion has everything from intricately designed bagger bikes roaring with personality to sleek, high-performance supercars that exude luxury.

The art car ambiance provides a canvas for the district’s most creative and sought-after painters. Shawn “SP the Plug” Perkins, Matt Long, Josue of the Corinto Gallery, and David Zambrano are returning to entertain crowds with their paintbrush wizardry. More importantly, showgoers can watch new crossovers, hybrids, and electric vehicles including the Toyota Crown, Acura ZDX Type-S, Hyundai Santa Cruz, and Kia Carnival being transformed into mobile works of art.

It’s a vibe, so catch the rhythm with high-energy DJs, dynamic breakdance performances, and racing simulators from Matte Motorsports. Also explore boutique fashion pop-ups featuring trendsetting styles that blend street flavor with automotive culture. And don’t miss our prize contests, which will award lucky winners with a set of Michelin tires and Bose portable speakers.

Thousands gather yearly to witness the magic, so don’t miss the chance to be part of the excitement. It’s all happening from January 31 to February 9, 2025 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. See you there!
