Lamborghini owners joined together for the second annual Gathering of the Bulls. This is the largest gathering of Lamborghini’s in the DC metro region. The group kicked off the event with a welcome dinner on Saturday evening at Greenhouse Bistro, where the front of the restaurant resembled a Lamborghini dealership with all the bulls showcased out front. A night full of fun, laughter and a few revs set the scene what was going to be a great event the next day.

The day started at Sandlot Tysons at the Boro where all the participants checked in and many local photographers filled up their memory cards taking photos of the vehicles against the backdrop of the great mural wall. I coordinated the parking by models so that all would flow together. Guests dined at North Italia so the body could fueled up for an adrenaline filled day. The lot filled up quickly with people that could not help but to stop and see what all of these Lamborghinis were doing and where did they come from.

Upon leaving the Boro, we went on a scenic rally drive led by the great team known as “DC Car Scene” through the back roads of Virginia, landing at the Cana Vineyards and Winery of Middleburg Virginia for a car show. The great people at Cana Vineyards laid out the red carpet for the group. Lamborghini only parking on the front lawn, was perfect as the rest of the cars filled up the back lot. Cana Vineyards provided the opportunity for everyone to enjoy the time socializing with other like-minded individuals, partaking in food, and having an all-around showcase of Lamborghini’s and a some other exotic car friends that did not want to miss out on the festivities.

The event was open and free to the public to walk around and see the beautiful cars. All types of Lamborghini’s were on site such as the Murcielago, Urraco, Gallardo’s, Huracan’s (EVOs, Performante’s, and others) and of course Aventador’s (Base, Ultimae, S, SV and SVJs) and the Urus.

My chariot for the day was the 2022 Toyota Supra GR 2.0. Even though it was not in the exotic field as most of vehicles on site, it still received a good amount of attention and intrigue from auto enthusiasts throughout the day. The 2.0 maintains the same sleek and sporty look. Our review model came in a Nitro Yellow hue. The Supra comes complete with auto-fold heated exterior mirrors, 18-inch cast aluminum 10 spoke wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. There are single piston aluminum disc brakes in the front and Single piston aluminum floating caliper disc brakes. Aerodynamic underbody panels, LED exterior lighting and brushed finished dual exhaust tips add to the sporty look as well.

The day ended with a great run at Capitol Raceway, curated by Hurricane Racing Tours. Fans filled the stands, as the Lamborghini owners were able to test their vehicles on a safe environment on the track. Due to it being a private event, the wait times to get on the track were not long. This was a great addition to the event.

This event would not have been possible without the leadership and hard work of Christopher Neidemire. When Chris called upon Adrenaline Lifestyles to assist with curation, I eagerly jumped at the opportunity. Such a successful event was also made possible by the generous sponsors that signed on the event such as Capital Auto Club, Lamborghini Washington, Wine of Lamborghini, Meguiar’s, Stacked Auto Haus, Ready Set Rent, HomeTrust Lending, Sandlot Tysons, La Prime DC, Zero Limit Lifestyle, Last Minute Justice, BullSquad, DC Car Scene and DJ Fern. Please enjoy the photo gallery and stay tuned for what is in store for the 2023 Gathering of the Bulls.
